The Skints - Special Edition Re-release 'Part And Parcel'

The Skints fresh from their headlining national UK tour, are releasing a special edition re-release of their sophmore album, 'Part And Parcel' this July via Bomber Music. The album has not only been remastered but now also contains unreleased dub inspired gems.

The band of young reggae and dub upstarts, from East London, mix Jamaican styles with pop hooks, grimey raps, filthy basslines and a punk rock work ethic to create a sound familiar to newcomers, yet is unique below the surface. Evolving from their first album, ''Live,Breathe,Build,Believe', 'Part And Parcel' is a "mash up of the influence 50 years of music from Jamaica played in the style and fashion of four young friends from London." The Skints, 2013.

The  special edition album is produced by friend, collaborator and reggae/dub aficionadoMike Pelanconi, better known as Prince Fatty and now also contains dub reworkings synonymous with his authentic stylings.

The band have a strong cult following, continuously sell out their live shows and are backed by radio success - with key supporters such as Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq (BBC 6 Music), Rob Da Bank (BBC Radio 1) and Mike Davies (BBC Radio 1) all playing their offerings. 2013 is already set to be their year.
