Morrissey will play his Royal Albert Hall concert tonight (27.10.09).

The 50-year-old music legend has confirmed he is feeling well enough to perform at the renowned London venue this evening despite collapsing on-stage at the Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre on Saturday (24.10.09).

The singer was taken ill with chest pains and breathing difficulties as he performed his first song - a rendition of his former band The Smiths' classic hit 'This Charming Man' - before falling to his knees.

Although he had been released from hospital, the rocker was forced to postpone last night's (26.10.09) show at the Bournemouth Academy.

A statement on his official website read: "Morrissey is in a stable condition after his collapse in Swindon on Saturday night. Thanks go out to all his well wishers, more information will be posted as soon as it is available."

His spokesperson has since told NME.com tonight's performance will go ahead as planned.

After the London show, Morrissey is due to continue his tour throughout the UK and Ireland, closing in Dublin on November 23.

Morrissey has already cancelled several dates this year because of undisclosed illness.
