The 60 year old, who portrayed psychiatrist Dr. Jennifer Melfi on the hit mob series, has previously revealed how she prioritised her health and lost 35 pounds (16 kilograms) following the loss of both of her parents in 2011.

She admits it was the passing of Gandolfini in 2013 which made her put pen to paper to share her diet and wellness tips in To the Fullest: The Clean Up Your Act Plan to Lose Weight, Rejuvenate, and Be the Best You Can Be.

In the book, Bracco claims the tragedy served as "a jolting reminder" not to take her health for granted, adding, "Jimmy's death contributed to my decision to motivate others to take care of themselves".

She goes on to share the secret to her own weightloss, revealing she cut out all processed foods, sugar, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, alcohol and caffeine, as part of a 14-day liver detox and then stuck to eating clean, organic whole foods.

The book, which also includes recipes to help readers jump-start their lifestyle change, as well as exercise and meditation advice, isn't Bracco's first literary venture - she previously released her memoir, On the Couch, in 2006.
