The Wanted felt ''fake'' when they worked with Justin Bieber.

Although the British boy band were happy to collaborate with the Canadian superstar, they didn't feel like they were being themselves and worry their part of the track is a ''little cheesy''.

Jay McGuinness said: ''We're sticking to what we know. We did do something with Justin Bieber, and it was good, but we felt like we were being a bit fake. It sounded cool when he did it, but a little cheesy when we did it. But it's probably got more of an R'n'B feel.''

The group have just released 'Word of Mouth', their third album, and Jay promises it is full of ''classic party tracks''.

He added to Heat magazine: ''It's the classic Wanted party tracks that you're going to want to dance to when you're out.''

And the album also has its emotional moments.

He added: ''It's been two years and there have been ups and downs personally for a lot of the fellas so they'll hear the history behind some of the melancholy songs.''
