Chris Hemsworth finds Sir Anthony Hopkins "inspiring".

The Australian star plays the titular character in new Marvel superhero movie 'Thor' alongside Anthony as Odin, and Chris admitted he was shocked at the 73-year-old Welsh actor's down to earth attitude.

In an interview in the May issue of Men's Health magazine, he explained: "His whole approach to this business, his work ethic and attitude on set was inspiring, however many films down the track he still has that and he still is excited to be there and treats everyone as equals and everything he does, he is an impressive person. I love Paul Giamatti, Johnny Depp, Al Pacino and Matt Damon, you know, I could go on and on."

While 27-year-old Chris - whose younger brother Liam is also an actor and will soon appear in the big screen adaptation of 'The Hunger Games' - loves his job, he revealed he initially decided on a career in front of the camera because he couldn't decide what to do with himself.

The hunky star - who is married to Spanish actress Elsa Patakay - said: "I always loved film, but never thought about it as a career choice. I had a different idea of what I wanted to do professionally every week. You know, I was a lawyer one week, a doctor, a sportsman in some way, and then I found out I can pretend to do all those things in acting."
