Chris Hemsworth is ''still waiting for an apology'' from Kristen Stewart after she punched him in the nose.

The 28-year-old actor was accidentally punched in the nose by his co-star while filming 'Snow White and the Huntsman' - which sees him star as the Huntsman, with Kristen playing the titular character - and he joked that the incident occurred when the pair both went to grab the same calorific treat.

He quipped: ''I got my nose busted by Kristin. It's been months and months and I'm still waiting for an apology. We reached for the same muffin and I learned my lesson, I won't be doing that again.''

Chris initially had reservations about the project as he thought it would be ''too similar'' to starring as the titular character in superhero movie 'Thor', but he soon realised director Rupert Sanders was making a ''completely different'' version to the classic Snow White fairytale.

He added to BANG Showbiz: ''I didn't chose the movie because of the action, that was the bonus. Initially I thought it was a little too similar to what I did with 'Thor', the fighting and fantasy based world, but I soon realised with Rupert's vision and this cast and The Script that it was a completely different take on the fairytale.

''It's a much, darker, gothic version that kept me guessing and I hope it will keep the audience guessing too.''

Chris enjoyed the ''musicality'' of his alter-ego but he wasn't keen on putting on a mid-Atlantic accent because he thought it would be ''too close'' to Thor.

He said: ''We talked about a few different accents. The main thing was I didn't want to do the traditional mid-Atlantic thing because it was too close to 'Thor' and with the advantage it being a fictional story we could choose what we wanted and we landed on a Scottish accent.

''It's like a costume, until you put the costume on you don't really feel the character but with this accent it took on a life of its own and I loved the musicality of it all and he's a man of the woods.''
