Tiger Woods may have known his new girlfriend since she was in a grade school, according to the New York Post.
Tiger Woods, the American golfer who is reportedly dating 22-year-old Alyse Lahti Johnston, may have known the girl back when she was 7-years-old.The newspaper note that Johnston is the stepdaughter of Alistair Johnston, the former vice-chairman of the sports-management giant Img. Alistair was the architect behind Woods' $60 million sponsorship deal which he signed with Nike back in 1997, when Alyse was 7-years-old. It has been reported that Johnston introduced his stepdaughter to the 35-year-old golfer, but it is not clear when. The pair were recently photographed enjoying the sun on Woods' 155ft yacht, which is docked on North Palm Beach close to where Johnston is seeking her Mba at Northwood University. The 22-year-old was charged with reckless driving in December 2010 and was ordered to complete a victim-awareness program and a course of drunk-driving prevention.
Tiger Woods recently gave a number of television interviews in which he spoke about the difficulties of being a single father. He divorced from his model wife Elin Norgedren last year after admitting to a string of infidelities.
