British actress Tilda Swinton treats her profession like a career in the Armed Forces because she puts so much effort into the characters she plays. The star's role as the White Witch in 2006's The Chronicles Of Narnia saw her wearing a corset - which was so tight Swinton had to be propped upright on a stand between takes. And Swinton insists she commits herself to movie parts as if she was involved in the demands required by the military service. She says, "I am a soldier. I live a soldier's life when I'm working. "That's how it feels to me - except I've got a greater chance of survival."
