TLC have unveiled a new version of their hit song 'Waterfalls'.

The two surviving members of the chart-topping '90s girl group - Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas and Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins - recently recorded an updated version of their seminal hit with Japanese singer Namie Amuro replacing the late Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, and the track has now been released.

The song - which sees Namie tackle Lisa's famous rap - features on the band's 20th anniversary album, 'TLC 20', which was released in Japan this week.

The girl group have also re-recorded several of their other hit singles for the album, including the smash hit 'No Scrubs' and 'Unpretty'.

British girl group Stooshe released a cover of 'Waterfalls' last year to mixed reaction from music fans, but they received a stamp of approval from the surviving members of TLC, who even appeared in the accompanying music video.

Chilli and T-Boz announced plans to record a new studio album last year and even pondered resurrecting their late bandmate as a hologram for a proposed world tour.

T-Boz said: ''We have to get into the studio and start feeling how we feel. You have to find yourself first and then you find the path and then you have an album before you know it.''
