Welsh singer SIR Tom Jones has vowed he will never retire because singing keeps him young. The 65-year-old, whose career spans almost five decades, loves every aspect of performing and cannot imagine feeling content as a retired pensioner. He says, "I will never retire. As long as I can sing, I will. "I'm enjoying it now more than ever. I'm having more fun now. It's not as frantic. I get more respect from people and it's very gratifying. "I couldn't put my feet up, I don't want to. I like to sing, I like to travel and I like to try new things. That's what keeps me young and active. It keeps things fresh and alive. "My ambition now is to keep going because you never know what is around the corner. I don't think you can plan it and I wouldn't want to. I like the excitement of wondering what's going to happen next."
