The son of fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger has escaped prosecution after cops decided against trying to convict him on drug dealing charges following his arrest in July (10).
Richard Hilfiger's car was pulled over in Hollywood earlier this summer (10) and taken into custody after officers allegedly found cannabis in his vehicle.
The 20 year old was booked on one felony count of drug possession with intent to sell, reports TMZ.com.
However the website claims Los Angeles authorities declined to prosecute on dealing charges, as he was found with around two ounces (0.05 kgs). He will also not be charged for possession as he allegedly has a prescription for medical marijuana.
