Basketball star Tony Parker's involvement in the London Olympics next month (Jul12) is in jeopardy as he recovers from eye surgery to repair a cut he sustained in a brawl involving rapper Drake's entourage and singer Chris Brown.
Eva Longoria's ex-husband is recovering in Paris, France after going under the knife to fix a corneal laceration he suffered when he was caught up in a violent bust-up between the two stars' entourages at W.i.P. nightclub on 15 June (12).
The San Antonio Spurs ace was due to play for his home country France in the 2012 Games, but he has yet to confirm whether he will take part, due to his recent injury.
His attorney Elizabeth Eilender tells E! News, "We hope and expect he will be able to play, but that is between him and his doctor."
Parker filed a $20 million (£12.5 million) lawsuit on Thursday (21Jun12), accusing the venue's owners of being negligent by "sitting persons known to be hostile to each other at the same time in order to generate funds for themselves" and "in serving liquor to intoxicated persons after they were obviously intoxicated".
