Tori Spelling's baby son Finn was born fit and healthy on Thursday (August 30, 2012), weighing in at six pounds and six ouches. The Beverly Hill 90210 actress first announced the news on her Twitter page, telling followers, "It's a boy!!!!".
The baby is Tori Spelling 's fourth child with 44-year-old actor Dean McDermott. She gave birth to daughter Hattie just 10 months ago, and is also mother to five-year-old Liam and four-year-old daughter Stella. Earlier this week, Tori had written on her website that the pregnancy would be her last, though admitted she was "in love with pregnancy" and called it "the most important job in her life". 'Finn' represents another safe choice of baby name for Spelling, who appears to eschew Hollywood's habit of giving their newly-borns the worst possible start in life with a terrible name. The boy's name - thought to be of Irish origin - has actually been popular with celebrities over the years. Most recently, actress Autumn Reeser named her baby-son Finn, as did model Christy Turlington and her actor husband Edward Burns. British born ''Frasier' actor Jane Leeves also opted for Finn when she gave birth to her first son in 2003.
As well as her television success, Tori Spelling is also a popular author - her book 'Stori Telling' topped the New York Times Best Seller list and was named the best celebrity autobiography on 2000.
