Late Traffic drummer JIM CAPALDI has left $3.8 million (GBP2 million) to
his charity-worker wife.
The 1960s rocker, who died in January (05) after a six month battle with
stomach cancer, has left his entire estate to his Brazilian born wife
The couple married in 1975 shortly after Capaldi split from fellow TRAFFIC
members Steve Winwood, DAVE MASON and Chris Wood following a string of hits
including HOLE IN MY SHOE and PAPER SUN.
After solo success with single LOVE HURTS, and later collaborations with
Eric Clapton and Bob Marley, the songwriter sold an estimated 25 million
records in total.
