Singer/actor Tyrese Gibson's ex wife NORMA was lucky to receive a $65,000 (£46,000) divorce payout - she signed a pre-nuptial agreement to walk away without a settlement if they ever split.
The former model filed for divorce from Norma in January (09), citing irreconcilable differences following 10 months of marriage.
Norma challenged Gibson's petition and accused him of being a bad father to their two year old daughter Shayla, prompting a judge to grant her $65,000 (£46,000) as well as ordering a temporary ruling in her favour for $6,230 (£4,420) a month in support, $2,730 (£1,935) to cover her rent, and a further $800 (£568) towards her car payments.
And the deal came as a surprise because Gibson had drawn up a pre-nuptial agreement to stop Norma from receiving any money unless they pair was married for over a year.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ.com, the agreement stated Norman would not be entitled to any of Gibson's estate, and would only get a $50,000 payout for every 12 months of marriage.
The papers also say that Gibson had the right to throw his ex out of their home if either side filed for a separation or divorce.
