Uma Thurman is sharpening her Samurai sword in anticipation for the return of Kill Bill - insisting the snippets of plotline she's heard are "awesome".
Quentin Tarantino thrilled fans by recently announcing he is working on a third instalment of the martial arts marathon, set to hit cinemas in 2014.
The first two films proved hugely successful, providing Thurman with her most iconic role yet as The Bride - a killer assassin out for revenge - and pulled in $332 million (£221 million) worldwide.
And the actress reveals Tarantino has allowed his muse first access to the unfinished plotline - and she can't wait to get back into character.
She says, "We did chat. He has not yet finished the script. I don't even really know if he's really started it, although I got a taste of some of his ideas and they are really good. He has started to share with me what he was thinking, and it's awesome."
The proposed Kill Bill: Vol. 3 will be set 10 years after the last instalment to allow Thurman's character to "have a break" from her bloody revenge mission.
