Shakira does her own make-up on 'The Voice' USA - while her male judging counterparts have an army of make-up artists to tend to them.
Shakira does her own make-up.
The Colombian beauty is currently a mentor on musical reality show 'The Voice' USA - starring alongside Usher, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton - and says she is low-key compared to her fellow singing superstars, preferring to apply cosmetics without professional help.
She said: ''I'm one of the only coaches who doesn't have a make-up artist.''
This is nothing new for the 'Hips Don't Lie' singer, who claims she has always done her own make-up for all her music videos and photoshoots.
She told Access Hollywood: ''I do my own make-up for my music videos and many of my pictures.
''I do have a few make-up artists that I like to work with occasionally, but most of the time I am my own make-up artist.''
As well as handling her beauty routine alone, the 36-year-old star previously admitted she prefers keeping her look very natural and never uses too much make-up or hair products.
Shakira said: ''I'm trying to go au naturel with my makeup. I like to use Tarte foundation because it's oil-free and waterproof and doesn't have any of the other bad stuff. I don't put it all over my face- just in certain areas. And then a little bit of mascara. Sometimes I just curl my eyelashes and don't wear mascara at all.
''The sun kisses my hair and it gives it a nice colour. I don't really put anything on it, but I do condition it right after the beach.''
