Victoria Beckham is heading oversees to open her first US office in Manhattan, New York in January next year.
Victoria Beckham is opening an office in New York for her fashion label.
The singer-turned-fashion-designer is to set up premises for her Victoria brand on 511 West 25th Street in Manhattan's stylish Chelsea suburb in January.
The 4,500 sq ft luxury premises will be big enough to house her entire American wholesale team and a seasonal showroom.
The 39-year-old star's CEO Zach Duane told Vogue magazine: ''Following a period of expansion for the brand in the market over the past two years, the launch of pre-collections across all categories signalled a need for a permanent office in the US to support the business.
''We are looking forward to opening our first office outside of the UK and will be announcing the details of our US team shortly.''
The new venture comes after a hugely successful year in fashion for Victoria and marks the need for a permanent US base for the designer and her team.
It will also be the first time the former Spice Girl's clothing line will be on sale outside of the UK.
Her neighbours in New York will include Target, which is housed in the same building, and the famous High Line.
There is also speculation that she could open a London store, rumoured to be in either Mount Street near Christian Louboutin or Dover Street in Mayfair.
She revealed at London Fashion Week: ''This is where I want to have my first store.
''I'd like to do something that is really new, really fresh. Something a little bit conceptual - but not too much.''
