Former SPICE GIRL Victoria Beckham wants to reform the all-conquering girl band.

The WANNABE singer is keen to relive the excitement generated by her and bandmates Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton when they shot to fame in the early 1990s.

However, Victoria - who is poised to relaunch her solo career next month (DEC03) with new single THIS GROOVE/LET YOUR HEAD GO - was quick to point out that her former bandmates have yet to agree to the idea.

She says, "I'm only speaking for myself here, I don't know whether anyone else would want to do it, but I think at some point maybe we would consider doing something.

"Just for the pure fact that what we did nobody has really done since and maybe never will again. And I think it's only a matter of time before people respect us for that. It was great what we did."

All five Spice Girls got together at Beckham's home earlier this year (FEB03) for the first time since Halliwell acrimoniously left the band in 1998 - but dismissed speculation they were planning to reunite.

Since that time, although Bunton has spoken of her hope that the girls will perform together again, Chisholm - who has enjoyed the most successful solo career - has said she is not interested in reforming.
