Vinnie Jones gets star-struck by his celebrity neighbours.

The soccer star-turned-actor loves living in Hollywood with his wife Tanya, but is often overwhelmed with the famous people they meet.

He explained: "We were having dinner in a restaurant and we got sent a bottle of champagne with the message, 'We all love Vinnie.' It was from Sting and Trudi Styler. They came over before they left and after that we were treated like royalty in that place. We get a bit star-struck sometimes."

Musician Sting and his wife are not the only stars to shock Vinnie.

The 44-year-old star was once invited over to 'Inglourious Basterds' actor Brad Pitt's house to play cards with him and 'RocknRolla' director Guy Ritchie.

Vinnie explained: "Tanya's daughter Kayley was watching TV and she answered the phone. The guy who asked for me said his name was Brad. When he answered her question, 'Brad who?' she fell of the bed! He invited me to his house to play cards. He had Guinness on tap and he was expecting Guy Ritchie to show up, but we then got a call saying Madonna had gone into hospital and a couple of hours later Guy rang and told us Rocco had been born.

"We were the first people in the world to know, so we wet the baby's head at Brad Pitt's house."
