Punk pop stars SUM 41 have dedicated their new album CHUCK to the United Nations representative who helped them get out of the Democratic Republic of Congo when a peace accord in the war-torn country was broken by rebels.

The Canadian group were in the Congo in May (04) filming a documentary for War Child when they had to evacuate as the African nation's civil war spilled into their compound.

Fearing for their lives, the group depended on UN official CHUCK PELLETIER (corr) to get them out of the country safely.

The new album is the follow-up to SUM 41's hit 2002 album DOES THIS LOOK INFECTED?
