Director Whit Stillman banned swearing from the set of his latest film, according to actress Greta Gerwig.
The actress starred with Adam Brody in Damsels in Distress, Stillman's first film since 1998's The Last Days of Disco, and she reveals the moviemaker hated hearing his castmembers utter expletives.
She tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "If you said a bad word on the open mike, (Stillman would) look at you and shake his head."
