Bruno Mars is "in awe" of Alicia Keys.

The 'Grenade' hitmaker has said if he could pick anyone, he'd love to collaborate with the 'Empire State Of Mind' hitmaker on a track.

The singer and songwriter said: "I always say I wanna work with Alicia Keys. I'm in awe of her. I'm a big fan of her, how she carries herself, her great music and her artistry."

Bruno, 2?, is also up for working with some rock n roll bands too, and would love to get in the studio with White Stripes frontman Jack White.

He added: "I'd love to get in with Jack White, of course Kanye West, and Kings Of Leon - that would be fun! I'm a big fan of the UK's Jessie J and The Saturdays too."

Bruno isn't likely to be star-struck by any stars he may collaborate with, as in his role as a member of production group The Smeezingtons he has already worked with Flo Rida, Sugababes, B.o.B and Cee Lo Green on hits including the latter's huge hit 'F**k You'.

Bruno appeared on UK Radio station Kiss this morning (20.01.11) and gave advice to those entering The Kiss Chosen One competition, which is searching for the next new presenter on the station.

Offering his advice, Bruno said: "They should be someone lovely, who exudes personality and a natural ability to make people smile.

"I hate when people are trying too hard to make people laugh. Someone who is cool, naturally cool.

"Trust me if these records stop, I'm signing up myself!"
