THE White Stripes travel to Britain to experiment with their music, because the country has the most diverse venues and the most open minded audiences.

The band wowed audiences in tiny London clubs when they were unknown and unsigned - and they used British gigs as a platform to learn how to entertain crowds.

Frontman JACK WHITE says, "London has been a place where we've done a lot of learning about what we can get away with and what we can't get away with and what kind of attitude needs to be in the room to make us feel good."
