Whitney Houston had no idea what she had signed up for when she agreed to be a part of husband Bobby Brown's much-maligned 2005 reality TV show BEING BOBBY BROWN - she was just trying to be a supportive wife.
The singer regrets being a part of the show, which turned her family life into a weekly joke on TV - with squabbles and dysfunction.
But she admits she was a willing participant at the time.
She explains, "I just wanted people to know that I was his wife... I was in love, I was crazy in love, it didn't matter to me... To me, it was like, 'OK, I'm your wife; what do you want me to do?'"
But when she sat down to watch the series, which was savaged by critics, she immediately realised the show was a big mistake: "I didn't know quite what to think. I knew I was trying to be Mrs. Bobby Brown... It was just difficult... I did it for him, I did it with him. How could you not do a reality show - and I'm your wife - and not have me in it?"
