Whitney Houston became embroiled in a heated argument with staff on a recent Delta Airlines flight after refusing to buckle her seatbelt. The singer reportedly "got diva" on a crew member after being advised to buckle up before take-off, according to Tmz.com.
Multiple sources claim Whitney boarded a flight in Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon (12th October 2011) but became incensed after being asked to fasten her seatbelt. After refusing to buckle up, another crew member warned the singer she would be kicked off the plane if she didn't comply with the airline's strict safety procedures. Whitney eventually "allowed one of the crew members to grab the buckle and fasten it" and the plane was cleared for take-off. The multi-award winning artist voluntarily checked herself into rehabilitation for drug and alcohol issues in May 2011. A source close to the singer said Whitney "overreacted" on the plane after missing an earlier flight, adding, "but she's still 100% sober and was on the way to Detroit for her first day of shooting a new movie".
Whitney is working on the musical-drama 'Sparkle', about three sisters who form a successful singing group but must deal with the dark side of fame. The movie, slated for release in 2012, also stars Mike Epps, Derek Luke and OMARI HARDWICK
