Whoopi Goldberg Has Warned Fellow Actress Raven-symone To Take Better Care Of Her Skin After The That's So Raven Star Confessed She Has Never Used Sunscreen.
The former child star made the revelation during a guest co-hosting stint on Goldberg's U.S. talk show The View on Wednesday (20May15) as the panel discussed a viral photo of a woman's damaged skin, caused by her regular use of tanning beds.
During the chat, the 29 year old admitted she has shunned the protective lotion all of her life, saying, "I've never worn sunscreen, and I used to go tanning. I don't like the way it smells, I don't like the way it feels; I don't see a difference... I put a big hat on, I cover up my skin... I get the vitamin D from the sun! I feel like my skin doesn't get leathery."
Her comments prompted Goldberg to scold her for her lack of skincare and issue a stern warning, stating, "Oh no, no, no. I'm gonna bring you some sun cream that has no scent... It will save you...
"You only get one skin, 'cause when you mess it up, it's done... Don't fool around with this - this will kill you."
