Will Ferrell loves dressing up as a superhero in his spare time.

The US funnyman - who voices the animated super-villain Megamind in the movie of the same name - has joked the only thing he has in Common with his character is his sense of style.

Speaking at the premiere at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday (02.10.10), Will said: "I'm really not like this character, other than the fact I really love wearing tight leather pants and capes. I have a lot of capes in my closet!"

The 43-year-old star admits he was drawn to the film - which also stars Brad Pitt as his life-long archenemy Metro Man - because his character is a "loveable villain".

He explained: "He's kind of a lovable villain who has always wanted to be taken seriously - and he finally gets his wish. He gets rid of his nemesis and then he realises he's totally unhappy, without good there can't be evil and vice versa. It twists that all around."

Although he adores the role, the 'Anchorman' star believes he would make a terrible superhero himself.

He said: "If I could rule the world what would I do? I would just have people carry me around a lot in a rickshaw. Nothing too big."
