British singer Will Young has vowed to complete Sunday's (17Apr11) London marathon, despite sustaining a knee injury - insisting he'll "crawl" to cross the finish line if necessary.
The Leave Right Now hitmaker has been training hard ahead of the 26.4 mile (42.2 kilometre) race, which he's competing in to benefit Catch22 - a U.K. charity which helps disadvantaged youngsters.
Young has recently hurt his leg - but he's determined to complete the long-distance challenge.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page on Tuesday night (12Apr11), he writes, "Officially opening London marathon tomorrow.... A great chance to promote Catch 22 who I am running for and so proud to be a patron of.
"The irony is my knee is b**gered so will I finish? Yes...... Even if i have to crawl. Knee pads are an option."
