Veteran actor William Shatner is set to be honoured with a lifetime achievement award at the upcoming Banff World Television Festival in his native Canada.
The original Star Trek's Captain Kirk will receive the prize at the summer (10) event, which takes place in Alberta from 13 to 16 June (10).
Shatner, 78, will also present a master class during the festival to discuss his five-decade-long Hollywood career.
He joins fellow 2010 honouree, British funnyman Ricky Gervais, who has been announced as the recipient of the prestigious Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award.
