James Belushi got into trouble for flying with a marijuana cigarette at the weekend.
The 'Cougars, Inc' actor landed on the island of Martha's Vineyard off The Coast of Massachusetts on Friday (06.04.12) but Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials found the drug on him.
According to TMZ.com, James tried to use his California medical marijuana card to validate having the joint with him, but was told it was worthless in the state.
The local West Tisbury Police were reportedly notified, but decided not to take action as the amount found was so small and marijuana possession has been decriminalised in Massachusetts.
The cigarette was confiscated by the authorities and James was let off with a warning.
The 57-year-old star isn't the only actor to have used the herbal high.
Brad Pitt recently admitted he quit smoking marijuana in the 90s when it started affecting his career.
He said: ''I'd smoked a lot of weed. I was professional at it. I wasn't participating in life.
''I was smoking myself into a doughnut, a mollusc. I got disgusted with it.''
However, other stars embrace and celebrate using the drug recreationally, with '50/50' star Seth Rogen recently voted Stoner of the Year for the second time by High Times magazine.
Speaking about his use of cannabis, he said: ''I'll admit to smoking weed all the time but I'll never admit to being stoned.''
Other famous weed smokers include rapper Snoop Dogg and country musician Willie Nelson, who recently collaborated on the track 'Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die'.
