Rotator Cuff Injury Prompts Nelson To Scrap More Dates
Country legend Willie Nelson has cancelled more concerts due to injury.
This time, it's a torn rotator cuff which has prompted the grizzled star, who turned 77 last week (30Apr10), to scrap a string of shows.
Nelson cancelled a concert in North Carolina in January (10) after a hand injury prevented him from playing his guitar.
He also postponed a series of concerts on his U.S. tour in March (10) due to a "scheduling conflict".
Of his latest injury, Nelson says, "The hand's doing better. I've got a rotator cuff that's torn, and it's cutting down on my golf."
The U.S. dates he was forced to cancel begin in Pennsylvania on Friday (07May10) and run through to the middle of the month.
