The producers of new movie Without A Paddle were forced to seek clearance from rap mogul Suge Knight when they inadvertently used an old rap anthem he owns the rights to in their film.

Actor Seth Green and co-stars Matthew Lillard and DAX SHEPARD started rapping along to Dr Dre's NUTHIN' BUT A G THANG (corr) during a break in filming, but the cameras were still rolling and director Steven Brill decided to keep the impromptu moment in the film.

Green recalls, "We just started rapping this Dre song and then it was like, 'We're filming it,' and then it was all about trying to get Suge Knight on the phone to get clearance."
