Punk band Yellowcard have had to scrap their European tour - because lead singer RYAN KEY has a nodule on his vocal chords.

The LIGHTS AND SOUNDS stars were forced to cancel the tour after doctors told Key he had to rest his throat or risk undergoing surgery.

A statement on MTV news reads, "If we don't take care of it now, there is a serious risk of surgery, which could put us out of commission for some time."

Yellowcard have promised to make it up to fans when Ryan is fully recovered.
