Russian pop duo T.A.T.U have changed their name after splitting with their manager - in preparation for their return to the international music scene.

LENA KATINA and Yulia Volkova, both 19, will release their first single under the moniker T.E.M.A later this month (JUN04) - after breaking away from controversial svengali-figure IVAN SHAPOVALOV, who held the rights to the original name.

The ALL THE THINGS SHE SAID singers' new producer BORIS RENSKIY is also keen to tone down the girls' lesbian act - especially as Yulia is pregnant with karate champion boyfriend PASHA SIDOROV's child.
