The cast of medical sitcom SCRUBS swiftly brought Zach Braff's down to earth after the success of Garden State, by making him dress up for a fake scene.

After Garden State - which he wrote, directed and starred in - triumphed in the box office, Braff returned to the set of Scrubs with an inflated ego.

He says, "I was at Sundance feeling very proud of myself, and the very first thing I had to do when I came back was a scene where I was wearing a full clown suit and having children hit me with balloons."

Executive producer BILL LAWRENCE admits the scene wasn't even broadcast, saying, "And that didn't even make it on the show."
