Zsa Zsa Gabor, the 94-year-old Hollywood actress, was rushed to hospital this week after suffering from pneumonia. Zsa Zsa Gabor, who has endured innumerable health scares in recent months, was having trouble breathing and emergency doctors worked long hours to help save the ailing actress' life.
According to Gabor's publicist John Blanchette, the 94-year-old was treated in the emergency room after being rushed to hospital in Los Angeles, telling NewsCore, "She had difficulty breathing. Doctors had to drain her lungs immediately to save her life. They've been working on her and she's not responding very well", adding, "She's been in the emergency room since yesterday". Gabor's husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt echoed the negative outlook, saying, "Her condition is very poor right now". The actress, best known for her flamboyant lifestyle and multiple marriages, was recently admitted to hospital after her friend Elizabeth Taylor passed away in March, claiming she was the next to go. Her health troubles began last July when she fell at her home in Bel Air, breaking her hip. She has since been rushed to hospital countless times and had her leg partially amputated in January after suffering from gangrene.
Zsa Zsa Gabor's glittering Hollywood career has included a starring role in the 1952 classic 'Moulin Rouge', as well as in the 1959 film noir 'Touch of Evil', with Orson Welles. She also lent her voice to several animated movies and made appearances in a number of television series.
